Cut your losses and fire the guy. He’s got a pretty healthy stack of bad decisions on his resume and the Rockies farm system has been in the bottom third for a few years. I think they’re looking at a rebuild, and their most tradeable assets are signed long term for big money. They’re gonna have to draft really well and make some shrewd trades if they wanna return to respectability within the next few years. The guy who signed 33 year old Michael Cuddyer to a 3 year contract probably isn’t the guy to do it.
