As a Yankee fan it might be expected that I say yes. But, in fact when the Yankees had the best record I wouldn’t be foolish enough to say that then either. Two thirds of the way through the season, in the midst of the pennant race it’s far too early to make that call.

When you consider of their 65 wins so far this season 29 of them have come from the likes of Rockies, Astros, Brewers, Mets and Padres. I believe all with not only losing records by substantial losing records. Even in their own league the National are a better team, in my opinion. And yes I do think the Yankees are a better team then the Reds considering the level of competition the Yankees face versus the level of competition the Reds face overall.
