Felix is a great pitcher, but the Yankees play into his hands by swinging for the fences. He murders them with the change up. If this dude played in a bigger baseball market, he’d be the biggest pitching name in the game.

This is Kuroda’s second “loss” where he’s been phenomenal but the offense was shut out (the other was the Yu Darvish game)

He may well be on his way to Cy Young number two even playing for the M’s. In 2010 Felix won his first Cy Young while pitching for a 101 loss Mariners’ team.

Felix pitched a masterful game and deserves all the credit for holding the Yankees to 2 hits and no runs. Kurodo pitched well also just giving up 1 run but that was all the Mariners needed on this day.

Coolest play I’ve seen in a long, long time. Adam LaRoche double play by letting a pop up bunt drop. 3-6-5, in the first game of the doubleheader. (Infield fly rule does not apply on bunts.)
