It was just a phenomenal day for a baseball game yesterday in Detroit.

The sun was shining brightly. The temperature stayed in the mid-80s, which, for my money, is just about perfect baseball weather. There was a nice breeze straight out to left field. There were triples. The top of the Tigers’ lineup just mashed the ball around.

We got to see one of the most exciting games we’ve seen in a while. It’s just nice to have a day at the park work out like that.

Amazing… I couldn’t have asked for a better game to take a friend that had never been to CoPa to.

During that rally in the 10th, the place seemed louder than it had been all afternoon. This was despite 70%(Maybe? I have no idea, but it was a lot) of the crowd leaving earlier.

I’ll never understand leaving a ballgame early because your team’s behind, especially when it’s close.

I do understand why everyone bolted today though, given that no team anywhere in the world at any level ever in history has ever scored 3 runs in an inning.
