Just because the Dodgers “expressed interest” does not mean they were ever willing to offer something Theo would bite on. Dempster is an extraordinarialy nice guy and its a shame this thing became as messy as it did. However, the ones who are really screwed in the whole process are the fans. Dempster has his best season ever and all that gets him is his being trade bait. The Cubs organization needs to send the fans a memo as to when they can give a crap about the team again.
