I’d love it if Jim would come back & resign with the Cleveland Indians so he could retire with the Tribe, after all that’s where his main body of work started & would be fitting!

We loved watching you hit home runs, Jim, but your need for rest and stints on the DL are not MLB roster friendly.

Thome should come back next year with the Yankees.

This DH by committee thing that they’ve been doing the last couple of years is sort of working but enough is enough. Thome’s swing would be great in Yankees stadium.

I’ve always liked Thome, .. is it showing??

Thome shouldn’t have signed with the Phillies this year. Well, even the first time around for that matter, but whatever.

He should get healthy, come back next year, and be the DH for a team looking for one like the Red Sox.
