I just came here to say that there’s one indians fan that will not support this team in any way until the dolans sell the team. They have proven over the course of this decade that they have absolutely no intention of spending money on quality players. We sell and attempt toreload.. Our drafting sucks b/c they don’t want to take a chance on young talent they can’t afford to sign (we did draft Tim Lincicum) We go out and get Ulbaldo and follow it up by resigning grady sizemore..

Their “if the fans show up.. we’ll get better players” approach is a joke.. Its like a restaurant owner saying “hey, we’ll sell you this crappy steak.. but if you keep coming back.. we’ll eventually sell you filet Mignon” doesn’t work..there was absolutely no reason they couldnt go after Pujlous or Fielder. they go after Casey Kotchman. (Dolans discounts) they’re a joke. i’ll check back in at the end of the year when they finish with 75-85 wins and watch the excuses fly.. .

From what Dan Gladden was saying on the broadcast, it sounded like after the pop-up that Nishioka lost in the sun landed right in front of him, he turned around and walked off, instead of picking up the ball and making a play, or at least stopping play. That to me was the icing on the cake. The first thing that coaches tell you is to keep playing until you know the play is over. And I don’t believe that part of information got lost in translation. That’s just poor professionalism.

As a Twins fan I am sick of Yoshi, he should have been dumped last year. He is only back in the bigs because the Twins were praying he would look good for a week and garner a trade, he is sure to be waived shortly.

You’re right. It would be incredibly hypocritical chalk up the Indians’ win to simply bad defense by the Twins. Just yesterday the Twins won because of bad defense by the Indians. The ball does bounce both ways, but the Twins will be willingly giving up bounces if they keep running Nishioka out there. The Gold Glove voting system must be as redundant in Japan as it is here for him to have attained that award.

Thank you so much for the warm love Craig, I appreciate it. And I don’t care about the miscues by Nishioka, because the Indians have had some ugly bounces against them during this 11 game losing streak, and hey, maybe with the ugly bounces going against the Indians all season, they will get bounces coming their way for the rest of the season, and they miraculously have a 53 game winning streak? Okay, maybe not, but at least for ONE day, they won’t slip further into the standings.
