Yesterday the Cardinals created a whole lot of nervous fans by telling reporters “something developed” with Allen Craig‘s health.

They later revealed that he had a sore chest stemming from colliding with a railing in mid-July and indicated that the injury wasn’t serious.

And they were right. Craig sat out yesterday’s game, but is back in the lineup today against the Giants after tests ruled out anything major. So go ahead and breathe again, Cardinals fans.

The Wrench belongs on NO bench!

Get that man a bat and let him work his magic!

Agreed. I’m not really a Cards fan, but Allen Craig is a monster of production. Glad to hear he’s ok.

I think he’s as “OK” as he’s going to get this year – bad knee, bad hamstring and the latest which has been lingering since mid July.

Would love to see this guy get 100% at some point, he’s a production machine.
