You’re welcome, Teaspoon. You know, when Mickey Mantle died a few years ago, some of the most glowing tributes to his career came from Red Sox fans. OF COURSE Red Sox fans root against the Yanks and vice versa (if we think about it, “hate” is probably too strong a word). But if you’re a baseball fan, you appreciate great players who bring honor to the game and play it the way it’s suppose to be played. I love Derek Jeter for that reason, but I also love Dustin Pedroia for the same reason (I just hate playing against him because he’s such a great player).
