Let’s cut the BS. That acl tear was not on his plant and push off leg. Rather it was on the free knee. He could probably pitch now if needed. Most definitely in a month.
If the Yankees need him in the playoffs or WS who will say no to the great Rivera in his final year of his contract and career.
He will trot out like Willis Reed at the Garden,while the Yankee fans at the stadium go nuts. Another magic Yankee moment. The script is written. All that needs for this to happen, is for the Yankees to make the WS and Rivera gets his wish. In his own words at the time of injury. ” I CAN NOT GO OUT LIKE THIS.”
