Despite the clown (or is it klown) comments, Braden is well liked in the clubhouse and was extremely valuable in developing Gio to his current level.

Look, shoulder surgery is much more problematic than elbow surgery. But the worst part about this is that the scheduled surgery is listed as exploratory, meaning we’re not sure what’s wrong. Best wishes.

It was only a little while ago when Braden, Anderson, Gio, and Cahill looked like the best young pitching rotation in baseball. Now Gio and Cahill are gone and Braden and Anderson have yet to pitch this year.
