Boston’s problem may be manifesting as player discontent, but this is all a top down phenomenon. The management regularly leaks information, the smear former players/managers/GMs as soon as they depart, they will leak anything to try to make themselves not look to blame for unpopular results/decisions. Those actions already sow distrust. Then you add Valentine to the middle layer….a guy who is famous for being a poor communicator, and the result is a bunch of frustrated players that feel like they’ll be hung out to dry as soon as it suits someone up stairs (or in the manager’s office) to do so…and they are right.

Another thing I find funny about Sox fans is when ARod got busted for roids, you were all over him; but as soon as Papi gets caught he gets a standing ovation and trust me I was at the Game in Baltimore when it happened.

BoSox fans are so annoying, I almost wish some Phightin troll would hijack this thread and turn into something about Howard’s ankle, or contract. Phuck all you all. BoSox made their bed, they can sleep in it, soil it, and wake up in all that mess they made all by themselves.
A management team that sows such discord deserves all the ugly beans that grow from such confusion.
The players themselves, such a crew of babies I have not seen outside kindergarten in all my life.
They all deserve each other. If there wasn’t a mountain of money involved, I would expect them all to fight over the ball they want to take home and not play at all.

I agree Yankee fans are pompous and they have alwasys been that way; but for me, Sox fans were fine until they started winning world series. Once that happened the team and fans became very arrogant and had a sense of entitlement.

I believe the point of this post is to say that AGon’s argument is invalid. Whether or not Yo Adrien has seen Passan in the clubhouse is irrelevant. Passan has clubhouse sources (whether players, management, or others) and those sources relay information to him and he reports on it. That is his job.

Maybe if Yo Adrien and his teammates were doing their own jobs a bit better there would not be such harsh light shining on this club and everything going on around them.
