		<description><![CDATA[i have no personal interest in Wilpons owning the team, but they are not broke, they just have less of a fortune than they thought they had, and most of that is tied up in real estate they don&#039;t want to sell until the market rebounds. also, they are not cheap either, before the recent cost cutting, they spent just as much as the top 2-5 teams (no one spends like the Yankees did), signing players like Bay to big contracts.]]></description>

An owner has to publicaly crash and burn for the league to take action, like Mccord. Expos were sold to mlb so thier owner could buy the marlins - anothe example of the league accomodating its owners.]]></description>
