With regards to dominating a celebrity impression, I believe Vaughn Meader’s JFK is unparrelled, as his impersonation is has become inseparable from JFK.

Actually, Ferrell’s impersonation of Caray is so popular, because like Fey’s Palin, it’s spot on. Anyone who watched Caray the last several years on WGN can attest to this, the guy was just collecting a paycheck towards the end. Not prepared, slurred speech, as he was downing the spirits. It was hilarious seeing Caray try and pronounce any foreign-sounding name, regardless of the level of difficulty.
