The Dodgers NEED another veteran, playoff-tested starter to throw out there with Kershaw, and without Billingsley, Harang, Capuano, Blanton and Stephen Fife are just not going to get the job done. Beckett must return to something close to his 2011 form, and now if the Dodgers want to make the playoffs, let alone win a series or three.

Do you seriously beleive that Beckett is that bad of a pitcher the way he has played this season in Boston? If you do you are insane as he is not that bad of a pitcher and I have ZERO respect for a professional ballplayer that takes a season off to skip town because of the embarassment he was much of a cause of in September. No respect at all for this POS regardless of the 2007 WS ring he helped this city win.
