I do understand though that they have a job to do, and the pressure is on not only from within the organization, but from the fans too. If I were a Pirates fan, I’d be happy to hear that the players are taking playing in a pennant race seriously and are upset when they are being told to do things that could take away from that. It doesn’t garner any sympathy, but like I said, nobody was asking for sympathy.
