And in other news today, Mr. Snail was reported to be recovering at Macondo’s Jackson Memorial Hospital this morning after a hit-and-run accident with an unidentified gopher tortoise in the Loxahatchee Wildlife Sanctuary. Mr. Snail sustained a fractured shell and lacerations to his foot in the accident. Police are following up anonymous telephone tips about the identity and whereabouts of the tortoise. When questioned about how the accident occurred, Mr. Snail replied, “I don’t know – it all happened so fast.”
