Actually, Selig said his bosses aren’t interested in more replay. He makes no pretense about caring what the public wants (and given some of the things fans think they want, I can’t really blame him).

Losing a no hitter on a bad call is only newsworthy if the pitcher gives up no other hits. Especially if the runner is erased on a double play. He gave up 2 other hits so it wouldn’t have been a no-hitter anyway. Point of the post is?? But the umps should still get it right and replay is wanted despite what Bud seems to think.

It’s not the hard, computers should call balls and strikes, (saw Swisher called out on a pitch the was at least 4 inches inside tonight to end the game) umps on the bases, with automatic replay review for every close play. Seriously no more argueing balls and strikes, no more 5 minute tirades by managers. Just get it right, it’s not that hard.
