Seattle has activated Franklin Gutierez from the disabled list after the center fielder missed the past two months with a concussion, demoting Casper Wells to Triple-A to make room on the roster.

Gutierrez hit .333 with two homers in seven games on a minor-league rehab assignment and most importantly reported no post-concussion symptoms.

Before the concussion Gutierrez spent the first two months of the season on the DL with a torn pectoral muscle. He’s played just 13 games this season and the former Gold Glover was also limited to just 92 games last season due to other health problems.

I give him 5 days until he gets hurt again. Better trade him now.

He’s kind of jinxed like the Aussie, Snelling, the M’s had several yrs ago, who was great talent and played balls to wall, but kept getting hurt, up to his final broken leg and a push out the door. Love Frankie, but not sure he’s got a future w/ the M’s….hope he pans out….we’ll see
