Carl Crawford is young enough to rebound in a less toxic environment than Boston. I think the jury is still out on Beckett, too. Lilly is scheduled to be activated in September but he is not stretched out so he will need to pitch out of the bullpen for the balance of the year.

Kershaw is the only guarantee at this point. Capuano has been solid and would slot in nicely behind a healthy Billingsley and then hopefully Beckett looks improved and rounds out the 4 man rotation for October (if they get there) while Harang is the #5 guy for the balance of the regualr season.

As Blanton has looked lost asa Dodger, there is not much room for error if Billingsley is hurt and/or Beckett continues to pitch badly. I don’t like their chances if the Dodgers need to rely on Harang as a post-season starter.
