I say leave the Carp out for the entire season, despite how he feels. I think he should focus on staying healthy, keeping his mechanics up to par and make sure he’s ready to go next season.

The Cardinals are exactly as big a dipwads as the rest of MLB, no bigger, no smaller. To state otherwise without providing evidence is being a biased narrative-driven dipwad.

The Cardinals hit a guy in the leg after he bowled over their AS catcher with a dirty hit (sorry, there is no situation in which a forearm and shoulder to the throat and head of a catcher is clean). Every team in baseball would have thrown at the guy, maybe in the same game, maybe later in the year, maybe next year.

Zito plunked Fielder because he didn’t like how he celebrated a walk off HR.

The Phillies have hit Molina twice since he ran over Ruiz.

Hamels hit Harper for no reason whatsoever.

The list goes on and on. Every team does what the Westbrook did, often for far lesser offenses and with more dangerous pitches. There is no evidence that the Cardinals are particular large dipwads, just your normal everyday sized dipwads.

Stick: Let me help you with this…
It is been just over TWELVE HOURS since Pouliot’s hack job of an article.
As a result, it’s a little early to let it subside.
Now…you wouldn’t mind…please help me with something.
Why is it when other teams (and their fans) bitch, moan and complain it’s okay.
But when the Cardinals (or their fans) do it…it is “whining?”
Double standard? Hypocritical?
Help me understand.
