It’s more than that. It was pointed out today that Cano has been hitting .273 since he left. A-Rod has a presence in the middle of the line up that is still respected.

Ha I totally agree with the presence thing with A rod, he may not do crap in the game but for whatever reason as a yankee fan I feel better that he is coming back to the lineup soon.

Therein lies the problem, Arod hasn’t had a hot streak in a long time, I really don’t see where they’ve missed him, but I understand if something were to happen to Chavez there would be a problem and Chavez is fragile. I haven’t thought to myself, man, I can’t wait for Arod to get back.

Sometimes I think Arod’s name and presence provide more than his bat. It will be great to get him back, but I’m not going to keep my expectations low.
