He’s always got a smile on his face, and some of the plays he makes are unbelievable. One play that comes to mind was from earlier this year before Joey Votto got hurt. Votto had just made a nice play at first, and on the next at bat, BP made a ridiculous grab/throw to retire the side. You could very visibly see Brandon mouth the words “That’s how you do it Joey!” It’s fun to see guys like that who are having fun, especially with how “stuffy” baseball can be at times (no celebration, no showing emotion/frustration).

I saw something the other day that had BP voted the third or fourth “most fake” personality in MLB, but I think he’s the real deal. Dude just loves it out there.
