Firing Slobbering Ozzie would be viewed as a victory for the right wing Cuban exile hardliners, the same ones who are going to take credit for bringing about, through sheer psychokinetic bile, the eventual death of Fidel Castro some time around his 100th birthday.

I, for one, do not wish to allow them the satisfaction.

We should pass him through wavers. Perhaps the Dodgers need to shore up their bench. Also tells you a lot about the defense of Lucas Duda, when the crappy defense of Jason Bay is an upgrade.

And once again the Mets pen excels. We could just say that the Feesh can’t hit. But I prefer to see it as the pen finally finding its bearings. We will see what happened in

You could see it coming. Apparently no one informed Buehrle that the game had started. He had been working on his gopher pitch in the boolpen, and was still working on it when Bay stepped to the plate.
