Move Grilli down the list. He was pretty awful today and blew six games this year. 1-6 record as an 8th inning shut down guy is not good at all.

Shortly after Zambrano signed his current contract, he claimed that he’d be retiring when it was finished. Unless Miami decides to pick up the option for next year (ha!), perhaps we’ll have seen the last of Big Z in the Major Leagues.

Ironically, you listed the age of “Fausto Carmona.” Roberto Hernandez, aka “The Player to be Named Later,” just turned 32. That was sort of the whole point of the identity switch.

Roberto Hernandez, A.K.A. Fausto Carmona, has seen his skills erode very similarly to Dontrelle Willis.

He may be young, but unless he re-commits himself to physical fitness, I could see his career being almost over.

Unless I’m missing something, you have a bunch of players with asterisks by their names but no indication of what the asterisks mean. Is this like 61*? 762*?
