That being said, trotting Janish, McCann (hurt), and Uggla out there everyday has been like playing with 4 pitchers in the lineup for the last month.

Rookie or not, here’s hoping Andrelton provides the same spark in his return as he did in his initial callup this year.

Simmons has Janish’s defense but he also can hit for a good average with some pop. This is why Jack Wilson was released last week.

He’s been an invaluable acquisition and filled the void much more effectively than a Tyler Pastornicky or Jack Wilson every could have.
