No. As a NY fan, and one who is concerned with the integrity of MLB I must protest. Having a pitcher skip a start when he isn’t actually dead is just tacky. Obviously Selig needs to step in here.

Protecting investment in a dominant pitcher? Nonsense! He needs to man up, rub some dirt on his shoulder, spit in his own face and pitch till his arm falls off. On the other hand, it seems to me that Longoria is still sore. There is no reason to risk his long-term future by playing him against NY. Obviously Selig needs to step in here….

Exactly. Skipping a game against the Rangers so he can pitch against division-rival (and fellow wild-card contender) Yankees instead of pitching against the Rangers which doesn’t mean nearly as much to the Rays.

he is skipping his turn so that he can pitch against ny and finish the season against the O’s you all are so stupid look at the remaining games if Price doesnt skip then Cobb would be in the main spot
