So, he’s back in regular season games already? Wow, that was fast.
Don’t forget to tip your waitresses … try the veal …

Wait, what?? In all seriousness, when did he have the surgery? (yes, I know he’s only throwing a little, but it seems fast to me.)

To be fair, he’s probably going to be totally sh#tfaced when he does it.

Well…least he’s healthy, for now. It’d definitely help us out if he could earn a little bit of that $17MM next year…

I’m surprisingly comfortable paying him to sit on the bench.

They want to get him in 3 games before the end of the year so they can ship him to Cleveland in the off season for Chris Perez and 2 minor league infielders.

Chris Perez is too shy and unassuming to survive in the Red Sox clubhouse.

Was a comeback expected this year for him? I thought he was scratched for the year. I was under the impression that pitchers don’t throw for at least 10 months. Seems silly to rush him back ,for little upside, unless they’re trying to trade him.

I find it disturbing that people keep focusing on his horrible pitching as opposed to those intimidating bulldog-like faces he makes on the mound as he’s being hammered yet again….

Seriously, is it just me or does John Lackey look like Monroe from Grimm? Every time I catch that show, I feel a little softer toward John Lackey.

24… try Gomer Pyle for a look a like, and he’s just about as bright.

How is it that the dodgers did not end up with this guy?
