Dice K has been shown more loyalty than a pack of huskies dragging their leaders sled. What is it about him? He generally sucks as a starter, has overall mediocre numbers, can not be relied upon to step it up a notch in big games – the guy had ONE good year – one. Lots of other pitchers have had 3 or 4 good years before their slide into mediocrity. Every single time there was a game the Sox NEEDED to win – did we EVER say “hey, great, Dice K has the Start!” Never. ’nuff said. Send him back to Japan.
