I started typing up my thoughts on this whole debacle then I got sidetracked & forgot where I was going with my ramblings then I just deleted everything & started over with this…kind of like the Tigers season so far except they haven’t started the 2013 year yet.

Yes, Leyland likes to play everyone sometimes, apparently because they might get rusty or bored or something. Unfortunately, playing them does not actually make them better players, it just allows them to get some exercise, waste outs, make errors, and hurt the team. When Raburn dropped the fly ball in left and then proceeded to strike out with a runner in scoring position, I could only think “at least he’s right-handed, so that must be better than a left-handed hitter could have done.” My brother texted that they need to throw Raburn out of the team plane, and I asked what they would do without his big bat, and he said they should use his bat to knock him out of the plane, it would be the best use it’s had all year.

You call for Dirks to get hits yet dumbass Leyland plays Raburn and bats him second. I hope the Tigers lose out and get rid of his ass. Guy has and will always be overrated as a coach. No game have the Tigers won because of him. They have always won inspite.

Obviously not a fan of either team, nut I do enjoy good baseball. It’s beginning to look more and more like the only way the Tigers are going to make the playoffs is if they win their division. The next 3 games against the White Sox may very well determine how likely that this.

tough to get anyone in particular going when the lineup is a downward spiral of leyland’s madness. i feel like he has given up on this year, i don’t know if its a contract thing or he’s just burned out, but putting ryan raburn in the lineup BATTING SECOND (!?!?!?) and his .168 avg is grounds for insanity. c’mon, this is a divisional race! big game against the sox, a chance to not force yourself to be perfect down the stretch… ryan effing raburn!? this team isn’t going anywhere anyways, but this fanbase (and the owner!) deserve better than that. raburn, don kelly, all this bullcrap is definitely NOT your best play. leyland has to go.
