The bulk of the weak opponent story rests with the 7 games with the Jays and the Jays have won their last 4 games. Other than Bautista, their position players are now healthy. Obviously, I have watched the Jays more than Yankee fans have. The youngsters Gose and Hechavarria are now playing like major leaguers rather than over matched minor leaguers. With Gose and Davis on the team, speed is the new source of runs rather power. I saw Red Sox pitchers almost defecate in their pants when Davis and Gose were on base. Can Yankee catchers throw out base runners? We will see. Personally, I think that the Yankees would be lucky if they win 4 of those 7 games with the Jays.
