Umpire doesn’t help, though. Seems like they know he’s a strikeout guy, and the weirdest pitches get called strikes as well. His long at-bat last night had pitches several inches inside that were called strikes, and then he started swinging because he has to.

He’s got bigger problems than that, but it’s hard to bust out of a slump when both you and the umpire have exploded the zone.
