They simply cannot beat the Giants, for whatever reason(s). They blew their best chance at keeping things close when they dropped two of three at the Giants’ place.

Still too many games to play. Though we only have 1 series against a team over .500, and all our remaining games are against the NLWest, the Padres and Rox always play the spoiler role really well. Yes, the Dodgers have a really tough schedule with the Reds, Cards and Dbacks. But I am not taking the Padres, Rox and Dbacks lightly! Hopefully, the last series of the year against the Dodgers are meaningless. But with the magic number at 16, 1 bad week for the Giants could change everything. But yes, 6 game lead in the division is really nice!
