Personally i think the jays had this guy do this on purpose so they could actually get some headlines after labor day for a change. But with that said i think the jays should use this time to annouce that they have a major deal in the works for after the WS were they are going to trade for a utility infielder and a 5th outfielder with Houston again. The Toronto Blue Jays also said today they do not support the idea of spending money to you know actually field a decent team. They do support the idea of making meaningless trades that involve lots of low ceiling ballplayers that do nothing to help either club just to make it appear to their fan base (all 7 of them) that they are trying to win. They also support the idea of firing the current manager after next season and bringing back Cito Gaston for 2014 to once again give their fan base (yep all 7 of them) the illusion that its still 1993 and they actually matter again…
