As much as I absolutely hate Barry Bonds and personally don’t consider him the real home run champ, you can’t tie him in with Melky yet because he never tested positive that we know of and can’t be definitively linked to have knowtaken PEDs

He is not getting an “atta boy.” There is a statistical records of events that happened on the field. Hits/AB=AVG and Melky’s is the highest. This is not an award based on votes with subjective criteria. It is basic math.

P.S., I would be willing to bet there are ALREADY batting champs in the books who used PEDs, and I don’t really care.

Always the ignorant “blame Bud”. MLB has nothing to gain by allowing the cheat to be awarded the batting title.

If the players felt this was the wrong thing, the union could offer up a solution – which will never happen.

Equally as disturbing is that I read on the MLB website that during the interview and a subsequent Q&A with reporters, Selig covered a myriad of topics, from wild card races to Pete Rose, BUT DID NOT MENTION INSTANT REPLAY. Clearly, Bud was afraid to discuss this in front of an audience full of baseball fans who would clearly destroy his narrative that there’s no “appetite” for it.

This is such horse shit. It is hard to fathom that a cheater who is dumb shit enough to get caught under these new testing standards is able to keep ANYTHING let alone an “atta boy” from MLB. The fact that he is still gainfully employed and not black listed from the game should be enough of a “reward”. Bud needs to retire, he’s as out of touch with reality as Obama/Romney.
