Industry is a tax-dodge city set up with about 100 residents scattered around about 40 square miles along the UP railroad tracks east of LA. Lots of light and medium industries there, and a lot of open land at the east end, where the stadium site would be. Probably not going to happen. Grew up near there, in Rowland Heights, over the hill from Brea, not too far from Anaheim which is why I'm a Halo fan. The Angels would be nuts to move there. Better access in Anaheim, serious fan base there, good anti-Blue identity, lots of reasons to stay.

There is nothing by the Nats stadium. They seem to be making due. They even make fans leave before the game is over since parking is scarce and metro closes early... but that is another issue for a different blog.

They aren't moving to the City of Industry. There is nothing there for the fans. No restaurants, no clubs, nothing the fans would do before or after the game. In today's world, the fans want more than just the game.

Nothing to do = no fans.

Also, the only space available right now to build a new stadium is down by the tracks, and hobo's and Orange County don't mix.
