Ryan Braun is playing through “a couple of groin issues”

Ryan Braun has essentially duplicated his MVP-winning numbers from last season and is batting .342 with multiple big hits this month, but he’s doing all that damage at less than full strength physically.

Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel spotted Braun “walking gingerly” in the clubhouse and manager Ron Roenicke admitted that he’s playing through “a couple of groin issues” and “going out there because he knows we need it.”

Braun missed some time with groin problems earlier this season and under different circumstances it sounds like he might sit out a few games now, but with the Brewers clawing their way back into the Wild Card race he’s unlikely to miss any action.

    More groin ‘issues’ than most…

But no conscience issues whatsoever to get in the way.

Just rub some of that ‘The Clear’ on it.

Just keep doing what you’ve been doing in college, throughout the minors, and thus far in the majors. You know, putting up almost identical numbers year after year after year. MVP x 2 if the voters had any sense.

And he will. He will also live with the cloud of suspicion.

Braun seems pretty well spoken, and doesn’t look like an idiot. And as Victor Conte said, only an idiot would get caught today.

Nothing a little juice and a loophole completely unrelated to guilt can’t fix.

Groin issues? That happens when you do roids!

Yeah, I think herpes will cause a “couple of groin issues”

Gee, I wonder if the “Haters” will pile on here, AGAIN. Once again, he was GUILTY until proven innocent. The panel OVERTURNED his suspension. He gets killed nightly in opposing stadiums, and in response he’s killing the ball this year, dinged up as he is. To conclude, SUCK IT ESPN AND YOUR HACK INVESTIGATIVE REPORTERS @OUTSIDE THE LINES!

Giants fans heartily cheered Bonds while he was booed everywhere else for being a cheater. Same situation here for Braun. The way he was cleared on a technicality (and a weak one at that) doesn’t mean he was any less guilty of cheating than Bonds. Just because he is continuing to find success on the field doesn’t mean the way he got to that point isn’t still just wrong.

It’s so comfy living in an echo chamber. Cuddly anonymous moniker. Real descriptive language. Tricked out psychoses like Schaudenfrade. Yes, what Big Men. Or BM for short.

Yes. This thread is full of BM. Thick and rich, just as the Braun Bashers like it.

Obviously, only the finest baseball fans will agree that consistency means nothing in light of failed attempts to prove otherwise.

In other words, I think Einstein is calling you crazy….
