Dusty Baker is back home, could manage tomorrow

Sep 24, 2012, 12:31 PM EDT

Dusty Baker AP

Dusty Baker left his Chicago hospital room yesterday and headed back to Cincinnati. He was actually at the ballpark before yesterday’s game against the Dodgers, but left before it started.

The Reds are off today, so there’s a chance the extra day’s rest will mean Baker is back in the clubhouse for tomorrow night’s game against Milwaukee.

Yeah, he can take another 10 days or so off, and the playoffs will still be waiting for him.

    Much love for Dusty.
Jazz, motorcycles, and shades are all Dusty, so are the wristbands.
Played with Aaron and under Alston. The man is a lot of history and game, and cool.
Much love for Dusty, not so much for the Reds.
