Maybe they have to cut pay roll because they didn’t make enough money on the non-existent parking around the new “Blow Hole”? Not that parking mattered in the equation because it turns out, NOBODY actually went to the games any more than they did when the Blow Feesh played all those years up north at Joe Robbie stadium. All that money stolen from the Miami tax payers by Loria and Uncle Bud Selig and wasted on a new stadium – then the team implodes and nobody will go out to see bad baseball and watch the new manager show his a$$. Who could have guessed that would happen when Loria and Uncle Bud were picking Miami pockets on the new “Blow Hole” stadium deal?

Did all those brand new luxury boxes NOT pay off at the new “Blow Hole” like Loria and Uncle Bud said they would? Selig will be hard pressed to ever get another new MLB ball park built after this debacle.

I’ll take the Trop and the Rays system/payroll any day over what is going on with Miami Blow Feesh baseball. As long at those dinosaurs (Wrigley and Fenway) stand, the Trop is anything but the dump Uncle Bud and ESPN say it is, the AC works just fine and the roof keeps out the rain. Plus, the Trop is a way better deal for the St Pete tax payers than getting a really bad stadium deal endorsed by the Commissioner of Baseball. The Blow Feesh built it and nobody shows up; new stadium or not – what makes MLB and the Commissioner think the result will be any different in St Pete/Tampa.
