And if you grew up in a tough neighborhood you know full well this would get your assed kicked prior to even removing the first article of clothing and/or equipment. Except for the face mask and chest protector that is. I don’t know about you but I grew up in a pretty tough neighborhood as a kid and NEVER needed a mask to handle my business and I’m was never considered a tough guy.

And I don’t despise RS in general, in fact I have a grudging respect for many of them but Ol’ Leadbottom is the exception. His reputation far exceeds his abilities and contributions. If he’s ever was the leader he’s purported to be there wouldn’t ever hand been the great beer and chicken scandal of 2011.

As a Yankee fan I hope they give him a contract for life. It’d be better than giving Valentine a life time contract because Capt Sucker Punch is younger.

Harold…please know with you being a Yankees fan I can totally appreciate you despising all things Red Sox related. But Varitek didn’t sucker punch anyone. He was standing face-to-face with Arod and mean mugged his ass like a Man. I have no skin in the game.
As an unbiased observer…this was straight up…toe-to-toe stuff. Like it’s supposed to be done.

Why is this good news that Varitek is working with the team? That means TWO dolts will be in the GM office next year running a team without direction and losing handily to Toronto and most of the NL competitors that will face them along the way.

And that ought to be good, them resigning 43 year old David Ortiz (does anyone really believe he isn’t older than 36?) to yet another overpriced 1 year deal so he can sit out against NL teams in NL ball parks.

Pink hats are happy tonight thanks to Larry Lucchino’s decision to bring back the “varsity” to the front office. I think this is a lame move and a PR stunt. They might as well be singing Sweet Caroline in the office over there it’s THAT lame.

No. Clearly either you eye sight or memory is faulty to the point of being useless. I’m referring to when Capt Sucker Punch followed A-Rod down the first base line and ol’ Leadbottom hit him with his catchers mitt. Of course he was sure to keep his chest protector and catchers mask on cause he’s areal manly man. When last seen, .. Capt Sucker Punch was in a head lock and being rescued by the rest of the RS.

Perhaps this will help your refresh your beer addled brain at least remember if not understand.

Are you referring to when Varitek picked up and slammed Arod when he was going to go after his pitcher? Missed the sucker punch on that, but did enjoy the greatest choke in post season history that followed. Never saw a sucker punch from one of the classier MLB players of his generation.
