1) The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is reeks of political favoritism and is therefore an unforgivable waste of time.
2) The fire you speak of burns with white hot ember as the team has sucked pretty bad post All-Star break for 2 years now. Wasn't this supposed to be the time we see the prospects come up and KINDA put the fire out?
3) Perez should be traded. He's a dink and is VERY angry.
4) The glass is now fully empty because it is Friday. Getting my drink on as we speak.

Drink up baseball fans.

The Dodgers would be stupid to let this opportunity pass them by. I always felt that Donnie ball has run it's coarse,he was just an economic replacement for Joe Torre, anyway! I think the Dodgers and Terry Francona are a good match ,and probably what the Dodgers need to kick them in the ass!The only one, out of the current Dodger coaching staff I'd bring back ,is the first base coach Davey Lopes.

And as I said just earlier this week, Francona has ties in Cleveland. He was even thinking about coming here as Special Assistant to the GM before he took the ESPN gig. He would also automatically command respect. So if I had a choice, it would either be Terry, or Sandy. First two choices there.

Don't hate on C town unless youve lived there for one and don't act like francona is above taking a job where his ideals will echo thru an organization. A chance to take a young group with some talent and rebuild a winning culture again is way more admirable as a fan and more rewarding as a coach (See Bucky with the O's)

Please Tito. For the love of God and all that is holy DO NOT GO TO CLEVELAND.

It's an armpit of a city to begin with, but the team is in NO place to win any time soon.

AND, you're going to have to deal with Chris Perez.

Who the hell would want ANY of that? Not me.
