8-14 wit a 3.41 ERA. That tells you quite a bit as much about the lame job his teammates did as it does about his pitching. There were lots of workmanly starts wasted this year, and not just by JJ by any means, due to an acute allergy to driving in runs.

Buehrle had a very Mark Buehrle-type year. 13-13 3.74ERA 1.17WHIP 202IP.
Dude took the ball every 5th day, shut his mouth and did his job. It’s a pity his effort is lost in this mess of a season.

It is very hard to care about anything related to the Fish. (Sorry, O.G.). Looking back at all the projections that had them 2nd to the Fillies, etc. It’s sad. Can’t say, “Good luck, next year,” because, as a Nats fan, I HATE THE MARLINS. Still, it’s sad.
