I personally thought the Markakis injury would be the demise of this team, but they continued to battle and fight to make the playoffs… As much as I want to believe CC threw at him on purpose, I still don’t think he did. The O’s didn’t retaliate this season, which was smart at the time due to the importance of those games, but I do see it coming early next year.

O’s have an instructional league going in Sarasota. That is where Thome and Patton were doing their rehab earlier.
