Tweet of the Day: Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt want rings

Oct 2, 2012, 2:48 PM EDT

I’m as sick of “Moneyball” mentions as anyone by now–A’s rookie Jarrod Parker was 14 years old when the book came out, after all–but this tweet from the movie’s co-star, Jonah Hill, was amusing:

Hill and Brad Pitt showing up for a playoff game in Oakland would be pretty great, especially if Angelina Jolie tags along.

It would be even more hilarious if Brad Pitt threw a chair at the wall when the A’s get knocked out of the playoffs…

I was rather surprised on how well the movie was done. Most book adaptations now adays are just piss poor.

only if Jonah Hill decides to g oback to the fat version of Jonah Hill…

Forget Hill and Pitt…With Jolie is enough.

Pitt has admitted he doesn’t know that much about baseball, but I wonder if he pays attention to how the A’s are doing

“Hill and Brad Pitt showing up for a playoff game in Oakland would be pretty great, especially if Angelina Jolie tags along.” Who cares? It’s not like the Fox cameras would even be on them. A Fox postseason game is all about baseball! No time for them to focus on celebrities in the stands!

Just ignore the shot of Mindy Kaling and her pink Yankees cap. She’s just a random fan at a game. She’s not there to promote her new Fox show The Mindy Project, I swear.

This is bad. The Orioles have Joan Jett, and it looks like the best the A’s can do is Jonah Hill. I suppose he is better than the guy who played Bernie. Well, maybe not:

Now that guy would deserve a ring.
