Thanks, even though Jonny didn’t play today, he was the first guy leading the charge for the celebration. He, like the other A’s didn’t squawk about playing time, getting put in a platoon. And did he ever deliver. Plus nobody started a brawl with the A’s this year with Gomes and Balfour. Coincidence?

I think the scenario I heard was Trout would have to go 4-4 and Miggy would have to go 0-4 for him to lose the Triple Crown.

I doubt Leyland would give Miggy 4 ABs.

Championship-caliber teams play the way Oakland did over the past week. All due respect to them, they went out and kicked ass like you’re supposed to. I can’t believe the Rangers end up not even winning the division, but they simply tanked in spectacular fashion.
