Totally agree…it would just be nice to see the players lose the game by themselves….they didn’t need help in that department.

But at the end of the day…when you got the bases loaded…NO outs and fail to score…
Bottom line…the Nationals did far more to win this game than the Cardinals did.

Seen this a lot this season. Just when the Nats look like they’re done, something happens.

Nats 2-9 w/RISP. Cards 0-8.

Nice to see Tyler Clippard overcome the defensive mistake. He had not been pitching well lately.

Just bad managing by Matheny. Would you rather have Boggs facing Tracy or Scrabble facing Moore? The choice is pretty easy as Boggs>>Scrabble and Moore>Tracy.

It was a good piece of hitting by Moore, but Matheny failed to do a manager’s job there….put his players in the best position to succeed.
