Not directed at this one person, directed at “people”. Seems to me you were making a sweeping generalization about more than one person making this statement, therefore reverting back to your comment on my last post after the O’s win where you said the same thing. So obviously, I felt inclined to reply on behalf of bucsfan and the rest of the “people” you refer to.

But I guess it’s my fault for assuming that bucsfan is a person and not “people.” Damn public education got the best of me.

Spell check, grammar check, usage check – all weak stuff. And a lot of Chutzpah coming from the guy who wrote about the “Redding Phillies” – then magically made that goof disapear

You correctly pointed out you didn’t predict sweep, the rest is non-sense (I think he understands what the word “bias” mean, he just used the wrong form)

Let’s not forget the greatest part of last nights O’s game: Sager and his attire that would make don Cherry blush. But the best part was when he said OPACY was the loudest venue he’s been to in 15 years. Impressive.

Also note-worthy is Bucks chess match at the mound. He plans to bring in Matusz to face Swish who is 1-20 something against him. Cano at bat to be intentionally walked so Buck bring in Matusz to IBB Cano first. Why you ask? Buck knew he had to throw at least one pitch so if he waited til Swish was up, Girardi could’ve PH. Buck avoided this by bringing Matusz in early, forcing Girardi to show his hand. THAT’S how you mange a playoff game.

Why do people get so butt hurt when anyone predicts that their team won’t win? Who cares? Around the world there are writers that predicted every possible outcome for every series, you know why? Because in a 5 game series every possible outcome is possible, with none of them being particularly unlikely.

Every reasonable person that watches baseball understands that when two good teams play each other, the “favorite” has about a 55-60% chance of winning….being wrong when you predict something in baseball is going to happen daily.

I’m still not sure what happened in the first inning because the announcers refused to use the words “doubled off” and “Jeter” in the same sentence. Everyone ignore it…maybe the fans at home will just see the extra out dot lit up and not ask any questions.

Craig, why respond to negative comments? You’re a writer who has their articles posted to PST. Of which, most of your colleagues don’t come off as eloquent. It should be beneath you to sink to that level and come off as pompous by belittling a guy who doesn’t know the difference between bias and biased. It would help if Jeter didn’t exaggerate every play he makes. For instance, every ball hit to his right he has to make a jumping throw. The media is fooled into thinking routine ground balls are Top 10 plays.
