Giambi? Wait, I linked to The Onion by mistake, right?
Well, at least he can teach them how to 'roid properly... if you're not cheatin' you're not trying, right Rocks? No more classy losers, the Rocks are going to make it clear that they are willing to lie and cheat if that's what it takes to win. Why not Pete Rose or ManRam as manager, they're available too? Bring in Melky and go after Braun and make this the 'roiders haven all the way!

Yes Yah, but then Detroit picked him up and he again proved the high quality nature of his Managerial skills.

Rockies = Browns = Blue Jackets = Wizards

Rockies issues are deeply ingrained VERY high up. It's an insult to baseball fans for them to continue to pin their excellently perfected LOSING ways... on the Manager.

When LOSING becomes the 'acceptable culture'... which it has in Colorado... the solution is NOT the Manager.

Pathetic... and delusional.

How long... will Rockies revolving Managerial policy masquerade and cover for the inept and incompetent manner the entire organization is ran from the top down? Too many managers have success on BOTH sides of their Rockies stint, but mediocrity... or typically worse... while in Colorado.... see Jim Leyland.

How long... will a city filled with blind baseball homers wear the colors and expect nothing more than a beer and a hot-dog?

How long... will the Rockies be the joke of MLB... and behave as though they do not care?

What credible manager would take this job? Answer - NONE. That's why you see names like Giambi.
