Ivy league, long time professional catcher, cares about the game. Sandy Alomar Jr. Is also intriguing. These guys are better choices than Farrel, Wallach or Bogart. Asmus would understand pitchers and how to run the offense and defense. Make the right choice for your Bench and Pitching coach and we may see a coaching team that actually adds value to the team. I would love o see Cheringon move Tek for special assistant to pitching or Bench Coach. I would take a look at Glavine, Maddox, I Rodriguez, Biggio, Smoltz, Posada, Jim Edmonds, Griffey or Javy Lopez. My top two would be Pisada.or Biggio. Asmus Coach, Tek Pitching Coach, Posada Bench. One hell of a staff that understand the game, can right the pitching staff, a command the clubhouse immediately.
