I have been a NY fan for a long time. Players that come to NY often do not play as well because there is just pressure like if you don’t get it done it is the end of the world.

Other places also put pressure on their teams but nothing like NY.

The point is, you have the right to boo. but you also have the right to beat yourself or starve yourself but you don’t. booing is just hurting your team. so you can do it but just realize what your doing.

Baseball especially. You have to be loose to hit. You can just see the yankees pressing and they couldn’t hit a thing. I absolutely think that the pressure on the yanks caused them to lose this series.

Same with Swish, he is all gun ho when they beat up on a team with a 10th of the Yankees budget, but when he is forced to produce, he can’t do it. Chumps !

The entire team deserves to be booed since the All Star game. Their 10 game lead – poof – gone. Getting hits to drive in runs, also gone. The fans have as much right to boo as Nick has to comment on it. Unless the entire team is taking a dive, there is something seriously wrong with NY for the last 120 days.

Leave Nick alone. He is a symptom, not a cause. I hope he’s back for another 3-4 years. Good in the RF and 1B, and can hit for average and decent power.

Try the numbers “1″ and “2″. The former is how many your team has won this century (as have several other teams), the latter how many the Red Sox and Cards have won in the same timeframe. For the money your team has spent and the amount of bragging and posturing Yankee fans do, your team’s number should be a lot higher.

And as far as Kevin Long goes, please note that the team’s oWAR is almost FOUR WINS higher this season than last season. With almost exactly the same personnel.

1. The Yankees aren’t winning this series and it will end in Detroit, and
2. He’s not re-signing with the them.

For only an idiot would say these things mid-series. So for now, he’s just a coward.
